Waterside Holiday Park is two minutes from the beach at Bowleaze Cove in Weymouth. The Cove lies just to the East of the town, yet still within Weymouth Bay and can be walked to around the bay via Preston Beach. It is situated within the parish of Preston, which is known for the Roman relics discovered over the years. The Cove itself is rocky and is formed from the steep cliff on its eastern side. The beach is pebble and shingle leading to soft sand. It is popular for water sports and has a variety of other entertainment in the vicinity.

Weymouth is easily accessible with a bus service to the site itself. This coastal resort has much to offer, including clean beaches, great eating out, a multiplex cinema showing the latest blockbusters, the day-to-day bustle of local life as fishermen land their catches of lobster and crab, and an Aladdin's Cave of small shops vie for your tourist trade.
