A months rainfall fell here over breakfast.

Rather than pass the cereal round we just put it into the middle of
the table and let it float down. The milk was a bit of a challenge
mind you and I don't know what happened to the sugar...

Soup for lunch, better make it a consomme...

Tuesday no rain. And I see they've caught someone for killing the two
French kids. Hope they throw the book at them.

Gordon Brown in Tokyo has been been advising us to waste less food.
Apparently we waste tonnes of of every day.

He's right as well. I've just been through our bin (not literally...)
to find we've recently thrown out some wrinkly mushrooms, a couple of
out of date yoghurts and some decidedly dodgy carrots.

Why does this happen? Because although we have diaries that are well
planned out our short term planning is...  Sorry have to go...
